Three events. One community. A shared commitment to making a difference.
At SAT-ELITE, connecting people is about more than satellite networks, onboard IT and maritime technology. It's also about building meaningful relationships, supporting our local community and coming together for causes that matter.
October 2026 has been a particularly active period for Mallorca's yachting community, with a series of sporting and charitable events bringing together industry professionals, businesses, friends and families.
From the fairways of the Superyacht Charities Golf Event to the excitement of charity go-karting and the energy of the Palma Marathon, SAT-ELITE is proud to be part of a community where teamwork and generosity extend far beyond the workplace.
🏃 Palma Marathon — Going the Extra Mile
The sporting celebrations continued on 18 October with the Palma de Mallorca Marathon, one of the city's major running events.
With marathon, half-marathon and 10 km distances, the event brought runners, supporters and local residents together in the heart of Palma.
The Palma Marathon reflects values we strongly identify with at SAT-ELITE: commitment, determination, teamwork and the willingness to go the extra mile.
Whether supporting a colleague, encouraging a participant or celebrating a personal achievement, events like these are a reminder of the importance of community and shared experiences.
⛳ Superyacht Charities Golf Event — Playing for a Purpose
On 15 October 2026, the yachting community gathered at Golf Son Quint in Palma de Mallorca for the annual Superyacht Charities Golf Event.
SAT-ELITE was delighted to participate, joining fellow maritime professionals for a day combining friendly competition, valuable industry connections and fundraising for worthwhile causes.
Organised by Superyacht Charities, the event brings together businesses and individuals from across the superyacht industry to support charitable organisations and initiatives.
For SAT-ELITE, the occasion was about much more than golf. It was an opportunity to strengthen relationships, reconnect with industry colleagues and contribute to the spirit of generosity that makes the Mallorca yachting community special.
A big thank you to Superyacht Charities, the event organisers, sponsors and everyone who helped make the day possible.
🏎️ Charity Go-Karting — Team Spirit on the Track
The charitable spirit continued at Mallorca's Family Fun Day & Go-Karting Charity Championship, organised in support of the JoyRon Foundation.
Held on 11 October at the Magaluf Karting Circuit, the event brought together the local community and members of the yachting industry for a day of racing, entertainment and fundraising.
Beyond the excitement of the track, the event supported a particularly important mission: helping children in need across the Balearic Islands.
Initiatives like this demonstrate what can happen when businesses, volunteers and local communities come together with a common purpose.
At SAT-ELITE, we value opportunities to support that spirit of collaboration, where teamwork makes a difference both on and off the circuit.
More Than Technology. It's About People.
SAT-ELITE works in an industry where reliable connectivity, innovation and technical expertise are essential.
Through our maritime satellite communications, Starlink and OneWeb solutions, EPIC network management and managed IT services, we help vessels stay connected and supported wherever they operate.
But behind every successful project are people — our engineers, customers, partners and the wider maritime community.
Taking part in local initiatives and supporting charitable events allows us to strengthen those connections in a different, equally important way.
Mallorca is more than a location where we do business. It is a community we are proud to be part of.
Thank You to the Mallorca Community
We would like to extend our appreciation to Superyacht Charities, the JoyRon Foundation, the Palma Marathon organisers, fellow participants, volunteers and everyone who contributes their time, energy and support to making these events possible.
Congratulations to everyone who took part.
At SAT-ELITE, we're proud to connect people through technology and even prouder when those connections help bring people together for a good cause.
